About
Mr. Drepani Story
Born and raised in Oroklini, I took my first steps in Cypriot dance at the age of five at my village dance school. After completing military service, I continued at the Athanasia Dance School under choreographer Giorgos Theodoulou, refining my technique and artistic voice with a constant focus on promoting Cypriot tradition.
Seeking a way to express the soul of Cyprus in a unique form, I brought the Cypriot sickle (drepani)—once a farmer’s tool—onto the stage as art. That journey led to a Guinness World Records title for the highest throw and catch of a sickle during a live performance. Today I’m honored to audition for America’s Got Talent – Season 21 and Britain’s Got Talent, aiming to elevate the drepani into a global symbol of art, tradition, and Cypriot spirit—and to share Cyprus’s history and cultural heritage with audiences everywhere.
